As a child, I wanted to go to all the places in our stack of National Geographic magazines. I loved the beautiful nature and exotic food photographs, and before long had a lengthy wish list. I’ve had the privilege to check many from my list and the majority are centered around culinary experiences. Folks often say, "Do you really have to go to a Michelin star restaurant to get a great meal?" In my experience, no. When we have visitors to our hometown, I have a two places I like to share. One is a "meat and three" and the second is a fine dining French restaurant. When planning meals, street food stops, cooking classes, and food tours with clients, I make sure to find out their likes/dislikes, dietary restrictions, atmosphere preferences and a comfortable price point.
